This is not a chair built to share. At forty seven inches across, the silhouette reads as an argument for square footage rather than a request for it. Top grain leather, finished in a deliberate distressed patina, breaks light into fractured patches instead of an even shine, so shadow moves across the seat back with every angle you take on it. Square wood arms square off the frame like shoulders held back. The whole mass sits low, then lifts just enough on black-finished legs to stop reading as upholstery and start reading as an object. It does not accommodate a crowd. It accommodates one person, entirely, and asks nothing further of the room.

  • Chair and a Half silhouette, engineered with the footprint of two seats and the intent of one occupant
  • Top grain leather upholstery, hand finished with a distressed patina that deepens rather than wears
  • Square wood arms, shaped for structural weight and visual presence in equal measure
  • Manufactured wood inner frame, built to carry daily load without flex
  • Black-finished manufactured wood legs, tapered to lighten the stance without softening it
  • Removable foam cushions over web suspension, holding shape through repeated use
  • Rated to 250 lbs per seat, made for actual daily sitting, not display

[ MATERIALS & CARE ]

Top grain leather ages instead of degrading, and this piece is built on that assumption. Keep it out of direct sun so the patina develops evenly rather than in patches, and wipe it down with a dry microfiber cloth when it needs attention, which is rare. Skip harsh chemicals and spot-clean only, the same rule that governs any leather worth owning. None of this asks much. The frame and the leather are built for daily contact, so the maintenance stays proportionate, a few minutes of common sense in exchange for a piece that only gets better looking with time.
