THE I-BEAM

$424.55 USD

Cast in the silhouette of a structural I-beam, this piece treats the end table as architecture rather than accessory. The solid mango wood body runs in one unbroken black plane from base to top, catching light along its edges while the recessed channel between the flanges holds shadow like a held breath. It reads less like furniture and more like a fragment of a building, repurposed for a room that already knows what it wants. Set beside a chair or a low sofa, it does not ask to be noticed. It simply changes the proportions of everything around it.

  • Solid mango wood construction, top to base, with no veneers or composite fill
  • Matte black finish across every surface, uninterrupted by hardware or seams
  • Rectangular tabletop with a 1.4-inch profile, substantial enough to anchor a room
  • Sculptural pedestal base engineered for a 130 lb weight capacity
  • Natural grain, knots, and texture variation left visible, no two pieces identical
  • Delivered fully assembled

[ MATERIALS & CARE ]

Solid mango wood ages the way good materials should, gaining character rather than losing it. A dry microfiber cloth handles daily upkeep, and the matte black finish is forgiving enough that fingerprints and light dust never become a project. Keep the piece out of direct sunlight to preserve the depth of the black tone, and skip harsh chemical cleaners in favor of a barely damp cloth when something more than dusting is needed. Because the wood grain is genuine and load bearing, this table holds its form under daily use without babying. It is built to be lived with, not preserved behind glass.
